Jeremy Grail is a designer, researcher, and technologist based in Providence, Rhode Island.

He has experience working across architecture, industrial design, digital fabrication, and information technology.
He recently graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a Master’s of Industrial Design, where he held a Building Tall Presidential Fellowship, a full-tuition award.

His Master’s thesis, Dead Reckoning, surveyed wireless infrastructure as critical resource for distibuted environmental intelligence and behavioral data surplus. Using open source hardware and software, He designed and built electronic field instruments that expose and extract data collection techniques of surveilled networked systems. He used the data collected with these specialized instruments to create experimental drawings and topography studies of the imperceptible electromagnetic environments surrounding citizens today.

In 2022, he graduated, with honors, from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Environmental Design and minor in Architectural Fabrication & Product Design.
